For 28 years, our Practitioners' Conference has stood for practical presentations at the highest professional level - thanks to top speakers from leading positions in the industry. The consistently high attendance and positive feedback clearly show that personal dialogue between operators, planners and manufacturers is indispensable for the industry.
We are once again inviting experts from renowned plant operators, manufacturers and planning offices to submit their technical papers for the 29th edition of the Practitioners' Conference Graz "Pumps in Process Engineering, Power Plant and Wastewater Technology".
The 29th Practitioners' Conference Graz "Pumps in Process Engineering, Power Plant and Wastewater Technology" will take place from 13 to 15 April 2026 at Congress Graz, now again as usual, one week after Easter.
The main topics include chemical process engineering and refinery technology, while power plant technology and the energy issue continue to be key topics. Of course, we are once again inviting experts from the field of wastewater technology to contribute to 2026.
The focus will be on practical solutions, new concepts and experience in the construction, operation and optimisation of pump systems. Contributions on current challenges and ‘unsolved’ problems are also expressly welcome - because open dialogue is part of our concept. We cultivate the open word!
Our conference is and remains: by practitioners for practitioners. Around half of the participants come from operating practice - this is also reflected in the programme.
We are looking for contributions with technical depth, but without an advertising character. The duration of the presentation is 45 minutes including discussion; dialogue with the specialist audience is a central part of every presentation.
Please send your abstract (max. one A4 page, presentation title and four to five keywords) by the end of September 2025 at the latest to:
info@ praktiker-konferenz.com
A completed conference paper is not required - only your presentation will be included in the documents.
The selection of contributions will take place in autumn 2025.
