of a large hydropower plant in Turkey

At the end of last year, we reported that we had received an order for design optimisation and mechanical design support as part of a major refurbishment project in Turkey.

We recently had the opportunity to visit the power plant together with our project partner. This allowed us to gain an impression of the condition of the facility.

New turbine design and model test in preparation

The CFD-based design process for the new guide vanes and the optimised Francis runner has now been successfully completed. We are currently working on supporting the mechanical turbine design and preparing for the model test, which is scheduled to take place at the end of this year.
