HYDROVISION, the world's largest hydropower conference and exhibition, will take place in Denver (Colorado, USA) from 12 - 14 July 2022. After our successful participation in 2018 and 2019, we are pleased to once again contribute a technical presentation to the conference programme.

Stefan Höller will talk about “Assessment of the Hydraulic Performance and Loads of a Reverse Radial Gate with a Flap by Using Multiphase CFD-Simulations”.

The presentation demonstrates the possibilities of 3D CFD simulation in the field of steel hydraulic engineering. The successful application of an innovative approach analyses the hydraulic behaviour as well as the occurring loads is shown by the example of a Reverse Radial Gate with a Flap.
