30^th Practitioners’ Conference Graz 2027

For 29 years, our Practitioners’ Conference has stood for practice-oriented presentations of the highest professional standard, featuring renowned speakers from leading positions in industry. The consistently high level of participation and overwhelmingly positive feedback clearly demonstrate one thing: personal exchange between operators, planners, manufacturers and service providers is indispensable to our industry.

With the 30th Practitioners’ Conference Graz, we will celebrate a special anniversary in spring 2027. For three decades, operators, manufacturers, planners and experts in pump technology have been meeting to exchange experience, discuss technical challenges, develop practical solutions together and drive technical innovation forward.

For this anniversary edition, we are once again inviting experts from renowned operating companies, manufacturers and engineering consultancies to submit their technical papers.

By contributing a paper, you make an important contribution to knowledge transfer within the industry and actively help shape the anniversary edition of the 30th Practitioners’ Conference Graz.

The Practitioners’ Conference Graz provides an exceptional platform for professional exchange. Speakers have the opportunity to engage with a highly qualified audience with a strong interest in practical solutions and technical innovation.

Date & Venue

The 30th Practitioners’ Conference Graz – “Pumps in Process Engineering, Power Plant and Wastewater Technology” will take place from 5 to 7 April 2027 at Congress Graz, as usual one week after Easter and in our established conference atmosphere.

Key Topics 2027

The main topics will once again include chemical process engineering, refinery technology, power plant technology and energy-related issues, which are more relevant than ever in view of global developments. We also look forward to receiving contributions from the field of wastewater technology.

Format & Submission

Our conference remains true to its principle: from practitioners for practitioners. Around half of our participants come directly from operating companies – an approach that is also reflected in the conference programme.

We are looking for practice-oriented technical presentations with substantial technical depth – well-founded, informative and without a promotional character. The focus is on real-world projects, innovative approaches and practical experience in the planning, construction, operation, maintenance and optimisation of pump systems. Contributions addressing current challenges, open questions or problems that have not yet been fully resolved are also explicitly welcome. After all, it is precisely this open exchange of experience that has characterised the Practitioners’ Conference Graz for three decades. We value open and honest discussion.

Each presentation will have a duration of 45 minutes, including discussion. Dialogue with the expert audience is an essential part of every presentation.
Please submit your abstract (maximum one A4 page, including the presentation title and four to five keywords) by the end of October 2026 at the latest to:

A full written conference paper is not required. The conference proceedings will contain your presentation only.

The selection of presentations will be completed by the end of 2026.

As a speaker, you will receive free admission to the three-day conference.
