Over 130 participants attended the 29th Practitioners’ Conference Graz ‘Pumps in Process Engineering, Power Plant and Wastewater Technology’ from 13 to 15 April 2026, where they listened to 22 technical presentations.

The conference covered a wide range of topics. Current challenges facing the industry were discussed, such as the use of data to benefit operators and manufacturers, as well as the use of AI to assist with fault analysis. There was also ample opportunity to hear about operators’ experiences and fascinating reports on incidents.

The practitioners’ conference was accompanied by a trade exhibition featuring a total of 11 exhibitors.
The open discussion was thoroughly enjoyed – a unique feature of this event in the German-speaking world, where no discussion has ever been cut short.
You can find a detailed review (in German) on the website of the Practitioners’ Conference Graz.
We are already looking forward to the anniversary edition of the Graz Practitioners’ Conference “Pumps in Process Engineering” in April 2027. Once again, you can look forward to many fascinating presentations from operators, designers, manufacturers and researchers in the pump industry. Details will follow soon. However, one thing will remain the same at the 30th Practitioners’ Conference Graz as it always has been – we encourage open discussion.
