From November 29th to 30th, 2018, the RENEXPO® INTERHYDRO trade fair and conference takes place at the Salzburg Exhibition Center. Once again, it will be the meeting point of the hydropower industry. The 4th International Conference Hydropower and Energy Storage – Flexible Hydropower on November 29^th, will give an overview of the possibilities for the flexible use of hydropower in combination with storage and thus innovations and challenges in the energy market of the future. Prof. Dr. techn. Helmut Jaberg, of the Graz University of Technology, presents various hydraulic machines and their use for network flexibility. In the afternoon Dr. Helmut Jaberg is the chair of the 3^rd block with the topic “Energy Storage: Ancillary Services, Innovations, New Projects”.

Prof. Dr. techn. Helmut Benigni is the chair of the Hydropower Practical Seminar: Power Plant Construction – Technology & Components on the 30^th November. In his introductory lecture he presents "Current examples of optimized turbine technologies - ways to maximize the cost-benefit ratio and state-of-the-art - troubleshooting for small hydropower plants".
